Sri Lankan Man Found Dead After Flash Flood in Shah Alam
The body of a 27-year-old Sri Lankan man was discovered in Section 25, Shah Alam, following flash floods that struck several parts of Selangor earlier today.

According to Shah Alam police chief Iqbal Ibrahim, a member of the public alerted authorities after finding the man’s body at a construction material storage site located on Jalan Padu 25/127 in Taman Alam Indah. Preliminary investigations suggest the victim may have died due to electrocution.
“The deceased was found lying face down. A physical examination revealed no signs of struggle or injuries that could have caused his death,” said Iqbal. The man had been residing in worker quarters at the site.
In a tragic detail, a dog was also found dead nearby, with authorities believing it too may have died from electrocution.
The man’s body has been sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang for a post-mortem examination. The case has been classified as a sudden death.
