A seaplane crashed while attempting to land on Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya amid strong winds, according to Sri Lanka Police.
The Police Media Spokesperson confirmed that only two pilots were on board the aircraft at the time of the incident. Both pilots sustained injuries and were admitted to hospital for treatment.
No other casualties were reported. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
