New Delhi, April 9 – Sri Lankan Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the Rising Bharat Summit 2025 held Yesterday.
Sharing a moment from the meeting, Rajapaksa posted a photo with PM Modi on X (formerly Twitter), expressing admiration for the Indian leader’s role in the country’s growth.
“Was glad to meet Indian Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji on the sidelines of #RisingBharatSummit2025 today. India has reached greater heights in the modern world under his firm leadership with its economy rapidly growing further,” Rajapaksa wrote.
The Rising Bharat Summit, organized by News18 India, brings together influential political and business figures from across the region to discuss development, innovation, and regional cooperation.
