HYDERABAD, April 8 — In what is being touted as one of the biggest pan-Indian collaborations, Allu Arjun is set to team up with director Atlee for a high-octane futuristic film titled AA22 x A6, produced by Sun Pictures. The announcement, accompanied by a behind-the-scenes video of the duo’s trip to Los Angeles for VFX and animation planning, has set social media ablaze.
The teaser showcased Allu Arjun exploring superhero-inspired gear, futuristic 3D animations, and high-end visual effects equipment — sparking speculation that the star could be stepping into a sci-fi or superhero universe. Fans have hailed it as a "landmark cinematic event", calling it the "biggest blockbuster in the making."
The production house shared the update with the tagline: “Gear up for the Landmark Cinematic Event #AA22xA6 - A Magnum Opus from Sun Pictures.” The buzz exploded online, with fans lauding the collaboration while some questioned the choice of casting a Telugu star in a Tamil production house’s dream project.
If industry reports are accurate, Allu Arjun will receive a record-breaking ₹175 crore fee, in addition to a 15% share in the film’s profits. Meanwhile, Atlee is reportedly being paid ₹100 crore, marking this as his most lucrative directorial venture yet.
The announcement comes on Allu Arjun's 43rd birthday, which he celebrated privately with his wife Allu Sneha Reddy and their two children. Sneha also posted glimpses of the intimate celebration online, adding to the celebratory mood among fans.
